Deborah has been riding since an early age and has always had a passion for Arabian horses. She is a graduate of Colorado Christian University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She than went on to hone her lesson style and training skills through 4 years of apprenticeship, working with trainers in Colorado. When asked why they started Livingstone Stables, Deborah replied, “It was always a dream to create the type of facility where you can excel with your horse and enjoy a positive, nurturing environment. We have truly been blessed and our concept of what an equine facility should be like is a reality at our stable.”
Growing up in a small town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Scott has a deep appreciation for the beauty and function of the farm.
The essence of Livingstone Stables is really the outstanding client base. Our horse owners are amazing. They possess a dedication, a bond and love for their horses that is second to none. Our clients have successfully shown and competed in a variety of disciplines and continue to spread the word about the amenities, training and people that make up Livingstone Stables.
Drop in visitors are always welcome!
What
Folks are Saying about Livingstone Stables
"Some boarding
stables make you feel stressed that you're going
to damage something
or that your horse won't reflect well on the barn
with its fancy show horses. Others lack professional
services and/or have facilities that are unkempt
or unsafe. This stable is a perfect blend of servicable
and safe facilities combined with a friendly and
homey atmosphere. The stalls were always clean
and my horse was always at a perfect weight regardless
of whether I had time to ride more frequently or
less. The turnouts and arenas were safe and there
was always space for me to ride when I wanted.
While I always felt my horse was cared for like
one of the owners' horses, no liberties were ever
taken with my horse without my permission. There
is no pressure to achieve more than walking down
the trail if that's what you prefer. Yet there
is also access to quality training and lessons
in many different disciplines for people interested
in show ring success. The services are affordable,
but the lessons learned, friends made, and the
peace of mind you will have about your horse's
well-being are priceless."
"After many attempts to
find a good trainer fortune fell upon us and
we found Livingstone Stables.
Absolutely recommend lessons with the trainer for
both you and your horse. Indoor and outdoor arena,
clean stalls, happy horses, and happy owners all
at affordable prices."
"Great place to play with
my horses. My horses are happy and healthy. The
owners are very kind
and pay close attn to the horses. It is a very
quiet place. There's room to ride around the property.
The stables and arenas are clean. The trainer is
talented and supportive."
"Clean friendly quiet affordable
barn providing excellent training in peaceful,
country setting!
We have seen a lot of barns over the yrs in search
of a reasonable place to be with our horses & it
hasn't been pretty one bit. We feel gratitude to
be able to board & train there. You can board
only with no pressure (we've done that) but if
you want lessons the trainer can do miracles with
you/your horse all with a GENTLE approach. The
horses are happy (T/O M-F) healthy & are now
even show quality. There's no covered outdoor arena
but they're expanding (there's an indoor & outdoor
arena). Land & trails too. We do Nat'l Horsemynship,
Endur/Trail, Wstrn & Eng, & Hunt Jump's.
Please only bring your horses if you deeply love
horses & want to experience heaven on earth!
So I guess you will need to have your angel pass
;) "
